There was a young man.
Born in America to parents who had money and loved him very much. Healthy, fit, and apparently good-looking, as told to him by his grandmothers who would squeeze his cheeks and tell him so. With nothing to really complain about.
Still, he’d wake up from his previous night’s sleep, only to dread the day ahead of him. Opening his eyes, he wished he hadn’t woken up. Any hope he had when he was younger of looking forward to something which brought him joy, was gone.
Deep, spiritual pain. The type of pain you couldn’t cry enough to shake.
Torment you didn’t know who to turn to for help.
This story is Dr. Chris’s story, founder of Barefoot Rehab.
Similar stories are present for each of Barefoot Rehab’s staff. All of us have hurt physically. More importantly, all of us have hurt, spiritually.
We’ve all been depressed, hopeless, frustrated, alone.
If you’re living in 2017 (which unless you’re a time-traveler, you are), you’ve probably felt the same way at times. If not the majority of the time.
At Barefoot Rehab, we fix the physical pain you feel on every day basis. The low back pain that prevents you from sleeping. The tension headaches that prevent you from running the business you love. The hip pain that prevents you from wrestling on the ground with your kids.
We like to help you get out of physical pain.
But do you know what we like more?
This is why we do what we do. This is why we get you out of pain.
You may not care about our reasons … our why. You may just want to get out of pain.
It’s important to us, though. We want to ask you with the help of Mary Oliver:
When you’re pain-free and not suffering any more,
What are you going to do with your one wild and precious life?
When we get you out of pain, please share with us your answer. It gives us fuel for doing this day-in and day-out. Your joy is our sustenance.
If you want to hear Dr. Chris speak about his experiences personally, watch the one-minute videos below. While much younger with a vintage Barefoot Rehab logo, Dr. Chris’s purpose is still the same.
Making you happier is why we do what we do.
